Examiner Behaviour 2 – Interlocutors & Test Reliability

In this section we will listen to some examples of interlocutor behaviour and consider why they are not helpful when trying to perform the main functions of a test interlocutor: eliciting as full and complete a language sample as possible from a candidate.

Very often other factors can interfere with this process, and interlocutors must be aware of them in order to try to avoid them.
