The course is based on hundreds of hours of research and input from stakeholders, regulators and the pilots and controllers themselves. The data was subject to rigorous statistical analysis underpinned by both qualitative and quantitative research methods. The course is the culmination of a 7 year doctoral study conducted at the University of Leicester.

There are 8 online self-access units and 8 Zoom sessions of 1 hour spread over 8 weekly sessions.
